A marketplace is the starting point.
A listing can help you find products. Your next job is to verify who supplies them, what you will receive and how the order reaches India.
Turn a listing into a specification
Save the model, photos, materials, dimensions and price assumptions. Ask what the price covers, the minimum quantity and whether the displayed sample matches production.
Understand the seller
Ask for the legal business identity, manufacturing or trading role and production location. Match payment details to the agreed contracting party. An attractive listing is not a complete supplier assessment.
Request a sample and clear terms
Confirm sample costs, lead time, packing, inspection requirements, payment milestones and dispute arrangements in writing. Ask for model-specific documentation for a qualified import review.
Coordinate China-side handling
Confirm whether the seller can deliver to the agreed receiving location and provide suitable commercial and packing documents. Domestic buying platforms can require additional language and logistics coordination.
Discuss sourcing help
IFC can discuss supplier coordination, consolidation and shipment planning from a product link and your requirements. Share the listing with your quantity, budget and delivery city.
